A brief background
history includes Clair’s fifteen years as Director of the
Mayor’s Advisory Committee on Art and Culture (Baltimore City’s
arts council). In that capacity on the Mayor's cabinet as liaison
to the City’s arts and cultural organizations, Clair was responsible
for all aspects of arts and cultural programs presented on behalf
of the City, from conception and budget projections to employee
recruitment and supervision, and most importantly fundraising. Jane
has over 25 years of fundraising, public relations and marketing
and special events experience mostly with nonprofit cultural institutions
including 8 years at MACAC with Clair. Claudia’s fundraising
and special events experience was sharpened in museums across the
country over eighteen years and five at MACAC with Clair. Denise’s
office management experience began with O’Conor Piper &
Flynn, and continued through five years at MACAC.
