Providing fundraising, consultation and arts administration services to guide organizations through identification and evaluation of goals and help them to better fulfill their missions. Services include assistance to plan, evaluate, manage or implement fund raising, capital campaign, endowment campaign, board development and recruitment, executive search, special events, grants writing or program development objectives.
Mayor’s Advisory Committee on Art and Culture (MACAC), Baltimore

In this Mayor’s Cabinet-level position, responsibilities of advocacy and support for the local arts and cultural community were accomplished through:
- Advising the Mayor on financial and legislative issues affecting the arts on city, state, regional and national levels;
- Developing administrative arts policies based on quality-of-life, economic development, diversity and regional cooperation;
- Making legislative recommendations before the General Assembly and City Council;
- Overseeing grant contracts between the City and its cultural institutions;
- Assisting the development of arts institutions, organizations and programs;
- Implementing arts and cultural programs on behalf of the Mayor;
- Acting in a collegial capacity to Maryland county arts councils;
- Administering a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization for fundraising purposes;
- Managing a $1.5 million annual budget;
- Supervising a staff of 13, plus temporary and contractual employees.

Cultivated relationships with individual artists through studio visits, exhibition coordination and design.
Baltimore’s Festival of the Arts, Inc. (BFAI), Baltimore
Founder and President, February 1988 – October 2001
- Created this 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization for fundraising purposes, in order to partner public and private efforts in support of arts and culture in the City and region.
- Arts advocacy mission is carried out through programs ranging from Empowerment Zone children’s workshops to an annual, regional ARTSCAPE arts festival with a 1.5 million attendance.
